October favorites – 2018

How you doing?

31st of October
The most expected day of the year.
Sadly we celebrate Halloween in one day, but if you’re like me, you’ll celebrate the whole month.
To start, 1st of October is when I get the most excited, the fallen leaves only start to gain more significance when you’re in “October Mood Activated”.
If October was a color it would be a happy color. You know what I mean? Suddenly everything around you is so unique and beautiful. Only means, that:

Even if something is falling, does not mean it isn’t beautiful

Like the leaves, people are the same, just because you are going through a harsh time and “falling” down, that doesn’t mean you don’t have beauty in yourself. You do, and that is what makes you raise again one day.
So let’s just start!
Music of the month:

Starting off with the whole album by Ed Sheeran. I absolutely love plus and I own the CD. I just love listening to his songs during the fall season but the music I really love is Autumn Leaves. I can’t wait to see Ed Sheeran next year!

Secondly, Lukas Graham! I think he is such an underrated singer. He has a lovely and sometimes powerful voice and his songs are simply amazing and well written.

Movies/TV Shows of the month:

Since it’s spooky month, I decided to watch as many horror movies/TV shows as I could but the ones I really enjoyed was: The Haunting of the Hill House and Coraline.

Book of the month:

The book I enjoyed reading this month was Before I Die by Jenny Downham. In the near future I will post my review. Do you follow me on Goodreads? Let’s be reading buddies!

Sweet of the month:

Last Saturday, I went to Aveiro (Portugal) with my boyfriend to spent some quality time together in a different place. It was so cold and the wind was so strong but we went to a cafe and ordered a chocolate cupcake with strawberry in the middle and Chantilly with pumpkins and skulls decorating it. It was tasty!

Lipstick of the month:

Bought this in the beginning of the month, at the store Kiko Milano. I wear it everyday and I’m totally obsessed with it! It has one base color and one top coat. It screams fall all over it, at least for me it does. It has great texture, applies perfectly on the lips and it doesn’t let the lips dry.

So this is my list of things I absolutely loved this month and I hope you enjoyed reading this post!

Thank you for reading and…
